The Chapter's preferred parade vehicle is a 1947 Cadillac Series 75 Model Hess & Eisenhart 47-500 Airline Coach 9 passenger limousine with 6 doors. In 1986 the Chapter members installed a 1976 Buick drive train and a 454 engine/400 transmission.
Recently, of Colorado Springs gave our Cadillac a new paint job and repaired an oil pan leak. They did this at no cost. The work was valued at $8,750.
After that,
provided a $450 service on the the car's transmission at no cost to the Chapter.
DAV Knob Hill Chapter 26 appreciates all the support provided by local businesses which in turn supports locals Veterans!!!
